Cym Gen 60mg Info Weight Gain

Hello I'm a seventeen year old girl and have been on cym gen for about a year and it has helped me greatly. The only problem is that I have gained a lot of weight,I was just wondering if this is normal because I have not changed my eating since starting on the pills.

Cymgen contains the active ingredient Duloxetine, which is an SNRI antidepressant and yes, this class of medications is well known to cause weight gain as a side effect.

Have you consulted your doctor? This may not be the right medication for you, or you might simple need to watch your diet more carefully and get more exercise.

Does cym gen 60mg antidepressant make you gain weight? If you watch what you eat which is one to take that works and you loose weight not gain

Hi I have been using Cymgen for fibromyelgia and picked up a lot of weight. I am also on Angelique and Convulex which also tend to let you gain weight. At this point I would like to point that I am nearly 60 years old and at an age where it is not so easy to shake the kgs.
I have been with a dietitian for three months and so far I have lost about 9kgs at a slow rate but it is worth it as I feel extremely healthy. Do yourself a favour and see a dietitian you gain all the way, weight loss and feeling healthy
