My husband and I had to go to South Africa for his work. We took our 2 dogs. My 8yr old Jack Russell developed Allergies. The vet in South Africa put her on Allegex and she did great on it and helped her Allergies. We are home now and my husbands next job assignment is in Florida and the same dog is struggling again with Allergies. I can not find Allergex here. Is their another medication like it or does it have a different name? My poor jack Russell is suffering, the vet has had her on Steroids and Antibiotics with only short term results. As soon as we finish the medication and the yard is mowed she is miserable again, red rash, scratching, biting, just so uncomfortable and miserable. Any help or suggestions? I cannot afford anymore vet bills. ## Hello, Peggy! How are you? I did some ...

I was informed that they are perc 30's. Can someone please help me identify these? ## Hello, Willow! How are you? No, this isn't a prescription medication of any type and you can be sure of that any time you see a pill with 44 on it followed by 3 additional numbers, they are all over the counter products. This one, in particular, is listed by the FDA as containing 4mgs of Chlorpheniramine and 10mgs of Phenylephrine, it's used to treat cold symptoms. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, insomnia and nervousness. Is there anything else I can help with?

Found these 7mm Round Yellow Pill inverted triangle (rounded corners) with letters K.B. in middle of triangle . Would like to know what they are. Prescription or narcotic? ## I'm sorry, but I haven't been able to find any listing for anything that has this marking and matches your description. That leads me to suspect that it's most likely something that's available over the counter, since those imprints aren't required to be logged with the FDA. I'll keep searching and post back when I find it. Does anyone else know what this tablet contains? ## Round Yellow Pill With K B Inside An Inverted triangle ## Chlorpheniramine - from what I have read they are antihistamines that are sometimes used as sleep aids.

Good Morning, Is the 255 yellow pill still available for purchase at retail pharmacies? I used to buy it at Costco and have not seen it there lately. thank you ## Hi Maggie, Based on my research, the round yellow tablet marked 255 is identified as OTC Chlorpheniramine Maleate (4mg); which is used to treat allergy and cold symptoms. If you believe Costco may have stopped carrying it for one reason or another, I would suggest contacting their pharmacy department to see if that's really the case, or if they simply forgot to restock it. Have you checked with any other pharmacies in your area as well?

White Round pill with R M B printed on one half of one side (the rest is blank) with a little divider divot underneath it. The letters seem slightly spaced apart with the M being slightly higher printed than the R and B. Got it in Macao from a doctor for having canker sores on my throat along with two other pills: Amoxy 500 capsule (maroonish on one half that has the words printed and a blank dark yellow half), and a small, oval, orange pill that both sides of CP stamped on the upper half and a funny looking L (where the end of the bottom part of the L is slightly curved up as if someone drew a comma too close to it) with a divot separating the CP and L. Was instructed to take the first two (1) three times a day, with the orange oval one being (2) three times a day. I can only assume th...

Chlorphenamine (INN) or chlorpheniramine (USAN, former BAN), commonly marketed as its salt chlorphenamine maleate (CPM; Chlor-Trimeton, Piriton, Chlor-Tripolon), is a first-generation alkylamine antihistamine used in the prevention of the symptoms of allergic conditions such as rhinitis and urticaria. I found these pills in my son's drawer and I'm kind of worried as to what they are. I have searched PIRITON all over the Internet, including this site as well but could not find any matches or pictures to confirm what it was. It is a small round white pill blank on one side and imprinted on the other side is just "PIRITON" please help me out if possible. Thanks for your time. ## I haven't found a matching pill yet, but that may be because Piriton is an over-the-counter medication, and OTC meds usually aren't listed online under any drug databases. If the tablet really is what the imprint says, then I don't think it's anything to be overly concerned about. Piriton contains the active ingredient Chlorpheniramine, an antihistamine most commonly used to treat...
