Trazadone Sunday, 7/13/2008 2:17:14 AM in Trazodone My name is sue, & I myself have taken trazadone. It belongs to the benzodiazapan family. It didn't make me lose weight, quite the opposite. In 11 months I have gained a total of 85 lbs. Iwent to the doctor & he told me to quit eating& excersize. So I felt that I could trust what he said because hes a DR. Finaly I went to a differsnt Dr. & he prescribed me EFFEXOR XR and ever since, (27 days ago) I have lost 14 lbs. Im no Dr. but it worked for me so ask your Dr. about it. Good luck, sua 3 Replies

Slept For Almost 2 Days Tuesday, 6/17/2008 4:50:07 PM in Amitriptyline I was prescribed amitriptyline for my back pain. I took one 4mg on Tues night at 9pm. I slept most of the 22nd. Maybe awake 3 hours out of that day, but was very confused! I woke up at noon on the 23rd. Is this drug too strong for me or is this normal? Could it be the combination of the two medications amitriptyline and tizanidine? I feel gittery, heart racing, confused and very tired! Please send any information that might help me understand this reaction to these drugs. 2 Replies

Side Effects Thursday, 5/29/2008 8:21:47 AM in Citalopram have been taking citalopram for 2 weeks and have been suffering painful headaches and aching joints, also have had an ulcer on my tongue for the past 3 days so just feeling worse for taking them, has anybody else had similar effects and do they get better?? 1 Reply
