It Has Been Used In The Treatment Of Hypertension, Angina Pectoris, Cardiac Arrhythmia, And Most Recently, Cluster Headaches.[1] Verapamil Has Also Been Used As A Vasodilator During Cryopreservation Of Blood Vessels. Equivalent Generic?
My mother has been on calan sr and wants to switch to the generic. The pharmacist gave her verapamil er. Are er (exended release) and sr (sustained release) equivalent? Shoule she have received verapamil sr?
