Olmesar And Alcohol
UpdatedEvery day, I take an Olmesar H 40 tablet in the morning as a part of my daily regimen. However, I also have a habit of indulging in alcohol once a week, where I tend to have around three pegs. I am curious and slightly concerned about how this combination of medication and alcohol may affect my health in the long term or if there would be any immediate implications?

It could worsen the side effects, according to the U.S. FDA, so you may experience more nausea, dizziness, headache, and increased urination than usual.
Additionally, the AMA reports that high amounts of alcohol risks causing cardiotoxicity and liver damage, or liver failure.
Is there anything else I can help with?
I drink alcohol daily (5 pegs). Can I take Olmesar-H (Olmesartan) 40mg in the morning?
