What information has your doctor given you?
Though it is very rare, the Amlodipine is known to cause Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, which can be a life threatening skin reaction. There is currently no known regular treatment for it, other than supportive care.
If that is what you have suffered, there is really no way to know when it may improve, or if it may be a permanent problem.
